We, as bloggers and business owners, have two kinds of goals: the “now” goal, like raising pageviews or getting more sponsored posts, and the “ultimate” goal, like owning a blog that earns enough money every month to let you blog full time. Whatever you ultimate goal is, we are going to works towards it.
What is your ULTIMATE blogging goal? Looking past your immediate goals…
Ex: Higher Pageviews is immediate, but earning enough to quit your job is the ultimate goal.
EX: More FB likes is immediate, but a platform to share your books is the ultimate goal
This really takes some thinking, planning and diving into to find out your ultimate goal, but once you figure this out, it will make your immediate goals much more clear and more productive. I want to encourage you to make a list of your goals. Your goals are somewhat of a check list, so write down your immediate goals and then make another list of your ‘long-term’ goals. Good luck!
