Paula and I are going to Blog Elevated soon, for an AMAZING blog conference. (What’s that? You want to join us? YAY!!)
Well, in order to go, we both needed to update our business cards. Here are a few things that you will need to put on YOUR business card… (ps- vistaprint has them really cheap! This is where Paula and I both ordered our business cards.)
1- YOUR PHOTO.
This is a given. They want to see you! Let them make that connection. Be sure that it is an updated picture. One time, a blogger gave me her business card, but her picture was from when she was much younger – about 10 years younger (understandable, right?). The problem: I was so focused on how she didn’t look AT ALL like her picture anymore & that she probably just wanted to show how she looked in her ‘youth’ that I didn’t really take her too seriously. Embrace your YOU … NOW!!!

2- YOUR BLOG URL
I know what you are thinking… ‘Of course!‘, But I say this because sometimes we put just our blog names, but what if it is .net instead of .com? Make sure that it is obvious. I posted my logo and then I put my URL on there, too. Now it has the best of both worlds!
3- QR CODE
This is just an easy way for someone with a smart phone to easy find you. I would lead to my ABOUT page where I list my favorite posts.
4- YOUR TWITTER INFORMATION
Paula suggested this one because we will be wanting to tweet with everyone at the #blogelevated conference. We did not include our other social media info because if they go to our pages, they will find that. As Paula told me “Would you be typing in their Facebook URL?” Honestly? … nope. lol! Who has time for that?
5. YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!
This is a MUST! Don’t forget this one! Brands want it, bloggers want it, readers want it.
And here is my finished product:
