When you find something that you love, you want to share it. You don’t have to ‘sell it’ because just sharing it does that for you. It is just sharing what you know with someone and hoping that they will love it as much as you do. That’s what selling the oils is all about.
Ok- let me start off with a “as basic as it gets” post about the oils… there is a lot of interest, but also a lot of questions.
1- You will sign up (this weekend only) to be a Distributor of Young Living Essential oils and you will get this deal: (follow the sign-up details right here and remember to use the code BOTS when you send the confirmation e-mail… you will understand when you read more here) Plus, the more that you sell (the more people that sign up) the more discount that you will get on your own oils.
ps- I am currently sitting by the diffuser that has the Lemon Oil in it and it smells so fresh… at least it will SMELL like I just washed our kitchen floors, right?
The premium kit is the one that we have because it is the best value and the easiest way to get started. It has 10 of the Everyday EO and a bottle of Stress Away & the Home Diffuser (that I LOVE!)
2– You will then do two things:
a- Start to share the oils on your blog. I am going to start making ready-made posts for you to share (only if you sign up under Blogging on the Side). What does this mean? This means that if I make a ‘Sleepy-time sugar scrub’ for my blog, I am going to instead share it with you on here and you can use it on your own blog. The image, the info, everything. You will want to change it just a bit to make it SEO friendly (You don’t want Google to think that you stole the info, so change some words or add your own paragraph).
b- Tell other bloggers about this deal and let them sign up UNDER you. How do you do that, you ask? When you sign up, you are going to get a number that will be your member number. They will sign up with YOUR number. You can read about it here.
3- When you sign up UNDER BLOGGING ON THE SIDE, you will have access to our little Facebook Family called Oiltastic, run by Holly Homer of Kids Activities Blog. Every day she is sharing tips to help us understand this and tips on how to use it.
4- You will start to receive e-mails with things like this:
“If you need to find a way to use a specific oil to help with a specific thing, we suggest using http://www.ylsearch.com and http://www.oil-testimonials.
5- Once you have signed up under BOTS, you can then promote our image… You can just add your site name/URL at the bottom in the bottom
You are always welcome to use your own images too if this doesn’t fit your site. The images I used to create it are all in The Oil Nation Bloggers FB group and I will add the book cover image to our photos here.
This is available to you or anyone who signs up under you to run on their blog as long as they are members of this FB group and are using me to send everything out this month. Each package I send out I will invoice you for $50.
US only – we can do Canada, but usually they end up not getting the gift card because the postage is about $20 additional.
You can have foreign sign-ups and we can usually just send the a gift card of around a $35 value as a bonus. They need to spend at least 100 PV to qualify as some of the oils that can be imported to certain countries are different.
Here is another image that you can use if you sign up.
6- The best part…
When you sign up under us, you are also under Kids Activities Blog. How does this help you? Holly is going to manage your sign-ups for you!!! You can either keep the $50 referral fee that you get when a new blogger joins, or you can do what we are doing and use it to offer Freebies. She will then invoice you $50 per sign-up while the freebies are at this level. It will cover everything (shipping, etc…). You can stop that at anytime, but it certainly makes it easier! Just make up a code. (Our code is BOTS, so when a new user joins under us, they e-mail her with the code BOTS.. .you will find out how to do that on the sign-up form).
You will find ALL of this info in that little FB group that I was telling you about. You will get all of the details in there.
7. You will be added to fun roundups! We are planning a roundup on Kids Activities Blog and on Your Modern Family and probably on Beauty Through Imperfection. We will ask for your links on your page (this means that we will link back to your Oils post… if you do a Lavender Play-dough or a Peppermint foot scrub… we will use it on our blogs and say that they have to go to you to find the recipe.)
8. Start sharing them. Make Memes and share the on FB or Pinterest. Link it to your Young Living Page (remember that you can copy mine here). You can make great YouTube Videos (be sure to check Monetize, if you want to make money from your videos) When you sign up, you will get the book of resources to help you know what to use the oils for. (Headache? use this. Anxious? Use this… etc..)
9). HOW DO I MAKE MONEY?
When someone signs up under you, you earn a commission on the oils that THEY purchase. The more sales that you have on your team, the more money you make (like every business). You just want to aim for 100 PV (essential rewards)- PV are sort of like dollars, so 100 PV is pretty close to $100. You want to try to earn 100 PV every month. You have to have this to make money.
Just try to make your first goal to have your oils completely paid for (because that is an achievable goal!) Once you reach that, it will take off. It is a very fast-growing business, I have found out. Oils are everywhere now and everyone is using them. This is going to make you a “go-to” person, so once you get your freebies this month, try to read up on the oils & the uses. I have learned a TON in just a few days! (mostly from the videos that are shared in our Oiltastic FB page).
Ok- so that was way longer than I had hoped, but I just wanted to try to dish out as much info as I possibly could to help you figure this whole thing out!
